SSH access
The Appliance is configured to be secure by default. This means that password authentication for SSH is disabled by default, it only accepts public key authentication. You can enter your public key by using the web administration console in https://<IP_ADDRESS>:8003. In case you want to enable password authentication for your own convenience, login to the virtual machine's terminal as the root user, edit the /etc/ssh/sshd_config file and set PasswordAuthenticaton: PasswordAuthentication yes Direct database access The Appliance is configured to be secure by default. This is why PostgreSQL is hardened against external access. The way of connecting to the database using a PostgreSQL client (e.g. PgAdmin3) is through a SSH tunnel.
