The simplest way on Windows is to install ChatGPT through the Microsoft Store instead of running the downloaded installer.

1. Open PowerShell.
2. Run:

winget install --id 9PLM9XGG6VKS --source msstore

1. Accept the Microsoft Store agreements if prompted.
2. After installation, open Start, type ChatGPT, and launch it.

You can also install it manually:

1. Open Microsoft Store.
2. Search for ChatGPT.
3. Confirm the publisher is OpenAI.
4. Select Install.

If Windows says it is already installed, run:

winget upgrade --id 9PLM9XGG6VKS --source msstore

If that still fails, send me:

• The downloaded file’s exact name and extension
• The error message—or a screenshot
• Your Windows version from winver

Do not disable SentinelOne or Windows security merely to run the installer. Use the official ChatGPT download page or Microsoft Store version.
