Setup Google API on Domain
- Administrator setup for Google Apps Migration:

- Setup routing in google apps on admin panel (split delivery)
- Setup advanced settings routing to smtp server.
If Split Delivery - setup local mail to send duplicate to Google Apps

for POP Access to Gmail do not forget to use “recent:” as prefix to username.
Migrate Email
- POP migrate email with: Google Apps Migration For Microsoft Outlook (Non Exchange Environment)
- Google Apps recommends: http://www.systoolsgroup.com/batch-ost-to-pst-converter.html (not free)
- Click-to-run will not migrate email with: Google Apps Sync (Exchange Environment)
- Also worked by using
  - Outlook Export to PST;
  - then, Import to Google mail using Outlook Import from file.
- For Exchange GAMME worked great
Setup other user email clients(Thundrebird…): Settings for IMAP and Smtp
Setup Phones, iPad, Tablets
Add Alias's
Add to groups

iOS Setup

On your iOS devices, go to Settings
Select Mail, Contacts, Calendars
Select Add Account…

Select Microsoft Exchange (Other choices will work but this is the preferred option unless you’re using a free Google Apps account, in which case you would select Google instead)

Set the Email to your full email address

Enter your Password and a description

Select Next from the upper-right corner of the screen

Set the Server to **m.google.com**

Leave the Domain blank

Set the Username to your full email address

Enter your Password and a description

Unless you plan to sync your contacts and calendars from Google turn those sliders OFF.  Leave the Mail slider ON.
IF you want to sync your calendar(s) with Google, leave the calendar slider ON.
Once the account is set up, go to https://m.google.com/sync/settings on your iOS device to choose which calendars to sync.

Select Save from the upper-right corner of the screen

Scroll down and make sure that the Default Account in the Mail section is set to your preferred Mail account
